The exhibition was opened in 1998 and it was renewed and expanded in 2003.
The authors of the exhibition: Saturnina Bubinaitė, junior researcher; Kostas Poškus and Gintarė Markevičienė, the painters.
Towel-racks with thin and thick linen towels, articles for flax weaving , colourful chests, painted in colours of Dzūkija, full of different pattern woven sashes, bedspreads and tablecloths seem to invite you to sit at the loom of famous weaver Julija Platūkienė and start weaving.
